Bereans Endowment
Helping the Bereans Sunday School Class provide greater support to a variety of needed areas.
The Bereans Sunday School Class began in 1980, founded by the inspiring leadership of Charlotte Dodson. Since its humble beginnings, the class has grown to more than 150 members who faithfully gather each week the Dodson Youth Center. Known as one of the most vibrant and active groups on campus, the Bereans are dedicated to supporting one another, growing in faith, and serving the community.
In 2014 the class came together to establish the Bereans Endowment, a lasting legacy of generosity. Each year, a 4% distribution based on a three-year rolling average is granted to meaningful causes. These funds are directed through the class’s Gift Distribution Committee which works closely with members to select and support impactful service projects.
