Fall For the Foundation

Each fall, RUMC Foundation, Inc. hosts two signature fundraising events — a golf outing followed by a celebratory party — to support our operations budget. Since 1991, the Board has never drawn from our endowments to fund the Foundation's operations; instead, it's these fall fundraising efforts that make it possible for endowment distributions to go fully toward their intended purposes. Your support of the Fall Fund Drive helps us continue this longstanding tradition. Thank you for standing with us.

MALONE DODSON MEMORIAL
GOLF TOURNAMENT

Monday, September 28, 2026 | 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Join us for an exciting day on the green at the beautiful Country Club of Roswell! Registration and driving range access begin at 9:30 AM, with a shotgun start kicking off the action at 10:30 AM. A delicious breakfast will be waiting for you as you head out for a great round of golf, and midway through, you can swing by a food station on the course for a grab-and-go lunch. After the tournament, stick around for an awards ceremony with plenty of opportunities to win, celebrate, and eat.

This cherished event has been a highlight of the year since 1991 — honoring the memory of our beloved former pastor, Dr. Malone Dodson. This year, we will welcome our new pastor, Reverend Derek Porter, onto the links and into the fold.

PAR-TEE NIGHT OUT

Friday, October 2, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Golfers and non-golfers alike are invited to keep the celebration going the Friday after the tournament at a relaxed and festive gathering! Join us at a private home to celebrate the impact of the Foundation, show appreciation for our incredible supporters, and congratulate the winners of the Annual Malone Dodson Memorial Golf Tournament. This 21+ event includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, a full beverage bar, and music.

No babysitter? No problem. Childcare will be provided at nearby Roswell United Methodist Church for a nominal fee of $15. A reservation is required so we can keep your little ones safe and entertained.

A $25 contribution per person is welcomed, but not required, to help cover the cost of the festivities — come enjoy the evening, whether you hit the greens or just want to celebrate!
