Suzanne Lewis Memorial Endowment

supporting Student Youth Ministry

The earnings from the endowment provide vital support for the student ministry, enabling a broad range of impactful programs and initiatives. These funds are dedicated to faith outreach efforts, mission work, and fostering spiritual growth among students, helping them develop a deeper connection to their faith and community. Additionally, the endowment plays a key role in building lasting friendships by funding events and activities that bring young people together in meaningful ways. The impact extends to the Dodson Center as well, where the earnings contribute to facility maintenance and the enhancement of the game room, ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment for students to gather, socialize, and grow. Through these diverse supports, the endowment helps create a thriving, vibrant space where young people can learn, connect, and develop both spiritually and socially.

Meet Suzanne Lewis

Suzanne was a gentle and selfless person, deeply passionate about supporting young people in their growth and development. Her love for nurturing others was evident in the many ways she served, from playing the piano for children at Sunday school to providing Braille books for young readers. She also opened her home to international students, creating a warm and welcoming space where they could feel at ease. Although quiet and humble, Suzanne found fulfillment in quietly positioning herself as a source of support, always working behind the scenes to help youth flourish in their faith and friendships. She never sought attention for her efforts, but her impact was deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
