Raising a family is both the most important and the most challenging job a parent will ever have. The youth programs at RUMC play a crucial role in shaping your child's future and strengthening your family. The Picchi Family Endowment supports both the RUMC Children’s and Student Ministries to help fund and enhance these programs.

The Picchi family lives with an abundance of joy and laughter, always wearing smiles that light up any room. Their energy is infectious, turning every moment into a celebration. They credit their vibrant spirit to their Christian faith, mixing devotion with lighthearted shenanigans.
Raising four kids and juggling fulfilling careers, they know firsthand how important the church community is to their family. Life gets busy and can be stressful! They take their academics and aspirations seriously, understanding that God has gifted talents and blessed them with opportunity. RUMC provided nursery, childhood, and youth programs for the kids as they grew up. The adult Sunday school class “Builders” provided a collaboration of parents raising their kids, investing in their marriages, and growing their faith. They know it is their responsibility to learn and grow with Christ, always striving to do their best.
This deep sense of community and care is why their endowment supports children's and teen ministries. It is their way of saying, “thank you RUMC”. They know it takes a village, and a strong church, to nurture a family. They put the meaning behind “community” so much, that you too feel like a peach at RUMC.
